How do you haul your gear around.

I am looking at the Kata R series backpacks, but what do you use to haul your gear around on a vacation where you intend to do a lot.

I figure I will need to carry the dlsr and three lenses, the point and shoot, probably both flashes, a tripod, maybe a lightweight light stand, my kindle, possibly a sketchbook and pens.

I think the Kata can handle all that, but I don't want to miss out on evaluating better options.

I might give in and get a Billingham soon though.
