High Speed SD Cards vs Normal

Simple question, I hope. I just bought a Kodak V603 Digital camera. A high speed memory card is recommended. I just got the camera and decided to try out my parent's regular memory card. I took some pics and videos. transfered them to PC and when I replayed them on the PC all worked fine except one video. One of them tried to freeze, went slow in parts and had messed up audio.

My question is, is it because I was using a regular memory card(and I just need to change to a highspeed card)? Or does this camera sometimes have a hard time producing videos?

Trying to decide whether to take this camera back or not...

i'm not sure about that but try emartbuy cos i wasn't sure about memory cards either so i used their memory finder then called them up to check what i needed and they were very helpful with me www.emartbuy.co.uk good luck!
