Help Me Find A Camera Please

Hey all I am new to the forum and would like some help finding a camera for me, well actually I am buying it for my brother, he is into all kinds of different artsy type stuff and needs a camera, so my question is what should I buy him?? I know nothing about cameras or what would be best, I would think he needs a camera for a wide range of things not just for still shots, and also something that does 1080p or whatever its called, Id like to purchase it from Amazon dot com and Id like to keep it in the $150-$175 range but will gladly bump up to $200 if its really worth it. So anyways theres my question, hopefully one of you can help me, thanks in advance!
