help me to decide

I bought a digital camera today, Vivicam 6300 in Compusa. I'm going to return it on thursday becasue it drain 3 pairs of battery in less than 30 minutes and the picture is a bit bury. can any one of you help me to find a camera that cost less than $220 in Compusa because they will only give me credits..
vivicam 6300 is not bad but it use too much of my batteries...
mostly i'll use the camera for family photos, but i think i'll take some landscape later on though.
