HELP with the KODAK LS443 PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys i just got an ls443 and i baught extra memory card for it -- when i put it in it tells me to format it so i click to format it but it never does it just says reading from the memory and then the camera turns off ?? can u guys help me plzzz!!1 thanks rafal

What brand of memory card did you buy? I've seen compatibility problems with some of the off-brands. But the bignames - Lexar, San Disk, Delkin, etc.- seem to be pretty reliable.

Maybe try formatting the card in another camera. If it's a format compatibility issue, another camera might take care of it.

OR format the card in a card reader using the computer(format F drive?)
