Help...Fuji FinePix9100 Viewfinder

Can anyone give us some advice on a problem my Wife has with her Fuji FinePix9100? The problem is the eyepiece viewfinder display optics are very dirty. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? If so how did you solve it?
