Help to buy New Digitial Camera for up to $250

Hi everyone, currently I have about $250 in my budget that I would like to spend to buy a new digital camera. The camera is just for everyday pictures with my family, so there is nothing very fancy or professional. Which brand or model would you recommend me ?

Having a signature link for a Web site that sells digital cameras when you're asking for camera advice makes your post look questionable. For $250 I'd take a look at the Canon A-Series PowerShots and the Panasonic Lumix ZR3.
