Hello I'm new to this site

Hello all, I was just surfing the photo sites and found this one tonight. My name is Capt. Fred and I'm from Rhode Island. As soon as I joined this site I was prompted to get in
here and say hello. I'm not sure where I was supposed to make my first post...so I thought I would just jump in and introduce myself. I am not new to photography or on line forums but I think it will take me awhile to find my way around. I am particularly interested in outdoor and wildlife photography but I would like to become familiar with all types of photography. Well that's about it from this end and I look forward to following the posts on this forum. Regards, CapnFred

Introductions seem to pop up in many threads but get the most response in viewfinder where just general photo things are posted but don't worry about it and we'll be glad for you to join in on discussions anywhere and, and of course, looking forward to your photos.

Hi Ross, I just found this site last night. I was just surfing around the net....actually I was looking for a site that features help for Lightroom 2. This site came up and I just looked around and found some interesting forum topics. Hope yours and Trish's Thanksgiving went well. Regards, Fred

Thanks Fred... yeah everything went real well... we had my parents over at the new house... it was a really nice evening even though I did work the holiday, friday, and the whole weekend... I have to pay that heating oil bill somehow...LOL

Did you finally put up the boat for the winter or are you a diehard and plan on taking it out?
