Hello I'm new

Hello I'm new here and this is my first thread so I hope that I sent it to the right place and did it right ...lol I am a 28 yr old stay at home mother I have been taking pic's for a couple of years but I got my first digital camera last x-mas I have been taking pic's for family and friends at school and any kind of outside activites that they are involved in a few of them have said that I take good pic's so I thought I would send a few online and see what someone that was not family or a friend had to say about them...lol so please tell me what you think of them.

This is a great forum and I've learned so much here.
I think it is better to introduce yourself in the Viewfinder thread and you'll get more response.
Then you can also post your pics into the critique forum and you'll get the good and bad from some experts.

Such thoughtful pics there, my first pics were so bad but my friends says I'm improving now, thats to this forum, we will learn a lot here.

Yes, you will get much more feedback in the Critique section, but I must say I really like that first photo. The child's face could stand to be in a little better focus, but I like the dissolving edges. How did you achieve that? And what camera did you use?
