    Good camera for road tripping
I like to go road tripping on my motorcycle, and I've beaten my last camera up pretty good while doing it. Its about time for a replacement. I'd like a camera that is durable and rugged. Waterproof would be a bonus, but not necessary. The important thing is the durability and that its able to take good pictures without taking up much space. And I don't one that costs an arm and a leg. I'll pay more if it's worth it, but I don't need the top end one.

What sort of camera are you after? Compact? SLR? Something in between?

Vulture - Olympus Tough TG-810. You described it to a Tee, excellent point and shoot, waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, crushproof (220lb force).

Or, tough 8010, similar, older model. No GPS, not as bright LCD, not sure if theres any other differences, can't recall any.
