Which to go for Sony P200 or Canon A95

HI All,

I am planning to buy a digital camera and I am a little bit confused which to choose. I am stuck between 4 options:

1. Canon A95 (which I am more attracted to) :)
2. Sony P200
3. Sony W7
4. Olympus C770

Both Sony have high resolution 7 MPixels (canon is only 5); and the are equivalent to the Canon in terms of zoom power (3x optical). However the Canon has the same price as the Sony.

For olympus, it is only 4 MPixels but 10x optical zoom.

So I am really confused here, which to pick?

I already used a Fuji FinePix 2MPixel Camera and I have an idea about digital cameras and photographing in general.

Give us a quick overview of exactly what it is you are wanting in a camera.. what kind of shots you take, etc
Alot depends, on exactly what kind of shots you take.. and, if you need the 10x zoom, or.. just an All around good camera, for everyday shots

Well,

I am not going to buy the camera for any business or professional use. I just want to have it for family occasions and gatherings. So most of the shots might be in house actually.

However, I would like to have good resolution for printing (8x10 in) and some good image effects (black & white, Sepia...etc). Also I am going to photograph my new baby with it, so I might like to do portait shots with a high chance for close (short distance) photographing and sometimes with Flash (So high quality Macro mode with Flash is important for me).

What I care most in addition to image quality is battery life. I don't want to keep changing batteries every 15 minutes or to lose important shots because of battery problems. I also care a lot for the price of the memory chips used by the camera. I don't want to find that to buy a 128 MB memory chip, I have to pay some huge amount of dollars.

I would love to have some manual intervention with the camera in order to learn and grow with it and to give me some chance to create some unusual photos.

I want it durable as well; I am planning to keep it for at least 3 to 5 years before changing to something else.

So simply that's what I am looking for in my coming camera.

p200 is the best it has a higher resolution from others and have a good features that make it on the top of all cameras u mentioned

sony W7 is good also
