    Just bought the fuji s7000 and can any one please tell me how to set it so my pics are only 640 X 480

    I'm not familiar with that particular camera so I don't think I can help. There should be a resolution setting somewhere in the menu, though. That's what you'd want to look for. Do you have the manual? A manual is pretty much a necessity with digital cameras.

    However, I would strongly recommend always using the highest resolution available. You don't want to end up taking an important picture at 640x480. There's no point in buying a good, high resolution digital camera and then shooting at that low resolution. You'll have wasted your money and your taking a big risk. I am telling you this because of my own experience. I took one of my favorite photos ever at a mountain bike race, at 1024x768. I'll never be able to really make a good print of that image because I decided to shoot at that lower resolution. Better to have more memory, shoot at the best quality available, and learn how to resize the images later.

    The lowest setting is 1 Megapixel which is 1280 by 960

    640x480 is for shooting a movie on the S7000

    This is all in the manual BTW :)
