    Finepix Z1 built-in flash problem
Hi everyone. I bought a Fuji Finepix Z1 as my first digital camera a couple of months ago and have been very happy with it. In the past couple of days the built-in flash seems to have stopped working. The camera is charged, the display reports that the flash is on and it seems to charge, but there is no flash when the shot is taken. We had been playing with the options, but I can't find anything to suggest it's been switched off permanently. Is it likely too be broken, or does anyone have other experience of this?
    Many thanks

    Sounds Broken
Hello, popkid. Welcome to the site. I'm sorry but it sounds like the camera might be done for. I did the pro review on this site for that camera and I didn't have any problems with it. The only thing I can suggest is putting it on full auto and shooting in the dark. If the flash doesn't work then, it has to be broken. Is it still under warranty? Hopefully it is and you can get it fixed. If it's been working well for you, it would be a shame for it to go sour on you. Sometimes things fail. Hopefully Fuji will make it right.

Yes, it should be. I'll have to send it off and get them to look at it. I can't imagine that much is easy to fix in something so small, but we'll see. Thanks for the reply.
