Expert Advice Needed

Hello Folks..

I'm looking to buy a DigiCam to gift my sister. Here are the ones which I shortlisted:

PowerShot SX100 IS

Cons:
Flash recycle time and lack of a flash pop up button
Doesn't record sound in Video

FUJIFILM FinePix S1000fd

Cons:
No Zoom in Movie Mode

Are there any models which stand close to the above ones and has no cons as above?

Here is what I'm looking for:

8 - 10X Optical Zoom
Movie with Sound and Zoom

Please advice...

The powershot sx does record sound in video, it records it extremely well and it does zoom too.

As for flash recycle time, you wouldn't want to shoot anything with the onboard flash which required continuous flash, anyway, that'll just burn out the flash in a hurry it's better to get an external flash bulb for that.
