digital camera formatting problem

hey, i dont no if this is in the right place but i need some help and hope someone can tell me how to fix the problem.
basicalli ive got a new macbook, being used to pc i forgot to eject my digital camera when putting my photos onto my mac. it came up with a warning and i thought that it would be ok,
clearly not.
there is now an message over the camera formatting error. i am unable to take any pictures, or put it back through my computer.
i have a traveler 5.25 megapixel camera, bad make i no but its a good lil camera and im skint so dont want to have to buy a new camera.
so anyone know what i can do?

Maybe you locked it on accident. If it's a SD card up on the top there's a little switch thingy with lock. Check it.

no luck. had a look and its not that. thanks anyway i would ever looked at that.
