dear photo friends
it's nice to find this forum, did not think to look for such a thing, great. i just got back from India where i spent 6 months a shot a lot of photos, some of which i'm sure are quite good, maybe the law of percentage works hear, shoot 8,000 photos and 800 are fare and 80 are great, maybe more. i hope for a 120 anyway.
so the reason that brought me here was a teck question, which untill further notice i'll ask here first.
I have Fuji S9000 and love it for all round use. however since my return the LCDscreen has stoped working. you can still see the emages through the viewfinder, then switch to viewfinder mode and shoot pics. the question is, can i find a replacement LCD for the Fuji S900 and replace it myself? hope so
What do you think.

No. If your camera is still under warranty I would contact Fuji. They probably won't even repair it, and most likely would send you a replacement camera.

Seconded and passed, figure out if your camera is under warranty before you open it up to do anything. If happens to still be under warranty send it in.
If it's not, I'd just scrap it and buy a new camera, because first of all it most likely won't be easy to find a replacement screen, once you do find the screen I doubt it will be cheap. In my book I'd toss it and buy new.
