D100...D70????What to buy

Hello all:

I would like some fedback on the D100 and D70. I have a F100 that I have used for a few years and I am very happy with it but need to get a digital to boost my flexibility.

I like Nikon...
Can anyone give me some feedback on the Nikon D100\D70...GOOD AND BAD

I shoot my family and B&W art.

There was a very good thread on this recenty if you feel like searching around for it. The consensus was that the d70 is the way to go.

I have the F100 and the D70. The D100 is supposed to be replaced this month so it doesn't really enter the competition - look rather at the Fuji S3 or the future D90/D200.

I find that the F100 and the D70 are complementary. I use the D70 when the images are for other people (hence - must not cost me money) and when I need them immediately (usually because I need them for other people).

The D70 is an excellent tool and the only things to criticise are the rather small viewfinder image and the tendency to burn out the highlights (like most digital cameras).
