    Cleaning a Memory Card?
I just got a message on my CoolPix 3200 that says, " WARNING!!! THIS CARD CANNOT BE READ"
So I turn to the manual and it gives the following two suggestions...
"Use Approved Card", which I do. This problem just occurred and I have had the camera for a few months.
    Or..
The check option, is "Check that Connectors are Clean".
How shall I clean the connectors?
    Thanks!

I have never heard of doing this brian, and I have a few really old CF's myself. My guess is that you may have a dead one. I see that you use an SD card, so i would use a Q-tip with a dab of alcohol and just gently rub the connectors. In camera? I wouldn't have a clue.

    Good luck bud...;)

Never heard of this. I have heard of CF cards accidentally going thru the laundry and coming out good as new - but wouldn't recommend trying that!

Nikon has a great tech support site, have you ever checked it out?

HERE's the main page for the 3200.

HERE's the page I was thinking of. Nothing here on your situation, but if you take some of the info out of the header (like specifically the 3200) you may find something. May be something in the manual too.
