Caption Function!
I am trying to find a digital camera with a caption function, or someway to trick the camera into doing what I am trying to do. I buy real estate, and I may see 20 properties in one day. At the end of the day it is hard to tell which property is which. If I could insert a caption when I start each house then I could tell which property is which. Does anyone know of a camera that supports this function?

Re: Caption Function!
Why bother?
Most cameras will focus close enough that if you write on a sheet of paper with a thick marker pen you will be able to read it in the thumbnails without even opening the image.
Write the address and START, photograph it, photograph the house, cross out START, write END, photograph it.
Any image between the numbers on the START and END shots must be that house.
When you put them on the computer you can move them into folders to organise them by house if you want. Just using thumbnail view should be adequate to pick the right images.
How much does a black sharpie and a legal pad cost?
A4 pad if you're in the UK :)

Or just take a shot of the house number first. - TF
EDIT: Some cameras do have GPS systems, though I have never looked into them??? - TF

Re: Caption Function!
The problem I had with my old Kodak is that it did not keep the photo numbers in order. So I could end up with photo 1, and 5 being house 1, and photo 2, 3, being house 2. I can not figure out why it was not going in order!

the photos might get mixed up when you import them, but the jpeg files numbers will progress in the order that you took the photos. you should be able to view the file info with pretty much any photo importing/viewing software.
