    camera dictionary?

    where can i find a good online dictionary explaining all the camera's vocabulary, like what is teleconverter, what is AF-S, etc....

    If you look to the top right, you will see a tab that says LEARN. Along with lots of great tutorials and other useful information is the Photography Glossary. For a breakdown of Nikon lens codes, including AF-S, CLICK HERE and scroll down. Hope this helps :)

    It's probably about time to start updating that gloassry and including stuff like AF-S.

    Have you looked at the current one? What would you like to see aded and/or changed? I do think it's probably time for an update. I think that one was finished in 2000.
