Blurry through viewfinder but clear pics??

Hey all:

I was hoping someone might be able to help me on a strange one here.

I have a digital Rebel Xti. Everything was fine yesterday, but suddenly today when I try to take a pic, it is blurry through the viewfinder, but the pics are coming out fine. I tried two different lenses and both had the same result.

The autofocus is working, as I can hear and see it move, but it never gives me a clear view. I switched to manual focus, but the weird thing there is I can't get it to focus at all then - like it needs to spin more, but has reached it's limit. Any ideas?

Try adjusting the dioptric on the side of the view finder which is probably not set correctly for your eyes.

If it was clear before, you've probably bumped your diopter adjuster.
You can't manual focus because "you" can't see your subject even though the camera does.

You guys are the best - that was exactly it. I was certain I must have bumped something but couldn't figure what it must have been.
