Agfa problems - need help please
I have an Agfa Optima 8328m - 8 megapixel, with an SD 2GB card.

Would like some help or advice please regarding batteries. I can't work out why the batteries need replacing/recharging very often.

The camera came with its own recharger and I also bought a spare battery for it. It takes the flat ones (approx 1" x 1-1/2") Lithium Ion Battery Pack.

Am I leaving the battery in the charger too long, not long enough??? Don't want to replace the card for a bigger one, unless this is causing the problem.

Tried various places for an answer, but no luck. To top it off - Agfa seems to have gone out of business (at least here in Australia anyway).

    Hope someone can help me.

    Thank you in advance

Lithium-Ion batteries have a lifespan of about 500 cycles of charge-discharge. They age more quickly if they get hot (never leave your camera out in the sun). They seem to "run out" faster than when they were new. (My record is about 1 minute from fully charged to fully discharged).

The only thing that you can do is to buy a new battery.

Agfa went out of business ages ago. You might be able to find a replacement battery from a specialist online store.
