    Lens compatibility

    Hello everyone! Sorry...I'm a real novice concerning DSLR's. My father recently gave me his Minolta 300si with two Minolta lenses (AF 35-70 and AF 70-210). It occurred to me that if these lenses were compatible with any decent DSLR body, I could begin my DSLR experience relatively inexpensively. Note that I am a casual photographer and do not require "the best" to get started. I would appreciate your opinion. Please advise.

    they are very good lenses and compatible with all the Sony Alpha cameras.
