    3 Way Tie
Ok, as of right now, I have a Kodak EasyShare M873 which takes awful pictures and was a terrible purchase. I have used friends Sony, Nikon, and Canon cameras, and they all seem better than mine! (Most likely because they are!) I'm a casual user that takes at least a picture a day. I need a camera that is ready to take the picture when I am, and has great image quality, and low noise at high ISO.

Anyways, I have read review after review and it's down to a 3-way-tie between

    Sony DSC-W130
    Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS
    and
    Nikon CoolPix S210

I really can't decide and need the camera for an upcoming vacation, opinions?

Sorry to double-post, but I believe it's going to be the Nikon. I don't need a viewfinder and have used the S200 all day today and it's great so the S210 has to be better!

I am not as familiar with the Nikon compacts as I am with Canon and Sony. I would encourage you to buy a camera with image stabilization, which I know the Canon has. I don't know if the Nikon does. Why do you like the Nikon better? I have no reason to criticize it. I'm just curious about what makes you appreciate it more.

Well, I did a small amount of research regarding image stabilization and decided it might be a worth wile feature. I know the SD1100 has it, and I know the Sony W Series has Super Steady Shot. I can't decide if I want the W130 or SD1100. The Nikon has a eVR (electronic vibration reduction) system, but I don't know if that counts.

I know Canon & Sony cameras both have amazing image quality and accurate color reproduction, which is what I need.

So anyone want to tell me what to get: Canon SD1100 IS or Sony DSC-W130...

    Update

Looking at EXIF data from sample images in reviews, the Canon has a higher DPI than the Sony, which makes me sway towards the Canon. @Photo-John, this is why I was thinking Nikon: These pictures were taken with a Nikon S200 which is .9 MP less and almost a year old. I thought the S210 could produce equally amazing images.
