    Panasonic G1 problem

    Hi All,
    I'm a new user from Melbourne, Australia.

    I recently bought, by mistake, a Japanese version of the Panasonic G1 on eBay.
    Everything looks like new except that I can't make it work! The menus etc seems to be working and I even tried resetting the camera, filled in the Date etc.
    I bought it so I can use my old Canon FD lenses with an adapter but somehow the camera does not seem to work: no picture on the display, shutter won't work.
    The LCD displays a Japanese warning that i couldn't decipher. I tried looking at the English manual but it doesn't seem to have this warning note at all.

    Does anyone have an idea how to make this camera work with the FD lens+adapter?

    Can you post a picture of your screen?
