    Made my decision----30D

So, after months of researching, I've decided that the Canon 30D is going to be my camera purchase.

I'm online looking for the best deal, and so far $1109 after rebate is the best price i can find-

This seems good to me...Any thoughts?

Can you tell from the link above, does that include the battery as well? I can't tell..

Beach Camera is a good dealer. The camera should come with a battery. I haven't heard of one that doesn't - unless it's used.

I would recommend not shopping by price. But like I said, Beach has a good reputation. So I think you're doing fine.

    Obviously, you are very wise

I'm sure the camera will be great for you. It's the third generation and so a very well-refined camera. I don't think you can go wrong with it unless you end up hating Canon for some reason or you need a lot more speed or full-frame capabilities - both of which are pretty specialized.
