I realize there are a lot of options for cameras that would work for photos at night (specifically the milky way/stars and the northern lights) so I guess what I'm actually looking for is advice on what features to look for that make a camera better for night photography. This has all come about after reading about the northern lights and where to see them (https://www.photographytalk.com/northern-lights), so I'm pretty pumped to get a better camera and actually take some good photos this winter (I now live in Fairbanks, which is on the list linked above).
Anyway, any advice on the features I should be on the lookout for would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first winter here and I want to get some good photos of the night sky since it will be night for so many hours of the day
