Tripod for Canon EOS Rebel Xsi

Will any tripod fit my camera, or do I have to get a specific one? Does anyone know how much these run?

Yep, just about any tripod will fit any camera. You can get a cheapie from any discount store for about $30.00. It will be light, cheap, and hold your camera. There are more expensive ones out there, but I feel a good tripod is a must have, so I recommend getting a cheapie, and then saving your money to get a better one.

eBay has a few affordable tripods.
    I picked up a Slik Sprint with a ball head ($50 W/shipping).
It works great with short stock lenses.
Most Wal-Mart cheapie tripods will have video pan/tilt heads
(with the stick thing hanging out in space).
I think those are fairly clumsy & could cause accidents.
