CAMP HILL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 2005--Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD) today announced a partnership with Pure Digital Technologies to launch two important new digital photo services: the Rite Aid Digital One-Time-Use Camera line and One Hour digital print-to-store capability from Rite Aid's Website, riteaid.com. Initially these services will launch in nearly 800 West Coast stores and is planned for late summer.

Rite Aid is the first national drug chain to announce that it will offer the One Hour digital print-to-store online service to customers. Customers will have the option of ordering digital prints from their home or office computers through www.riteaid.com for One-Hour pick up at their local Rite Aid store. This convenient service, which effectively puts a "digital order kiosk" on the customer's home computer, will also enable special custom orders like greeting cards, calendars and photo gifts.

The Rite Aid Digital One-Time-Use Camera Line, developed by Pure Digital Technologies, consists of two affordable, worry-free cameras. The Picture Preview model features a 1.4 inch color LCD screen for instant image review and deleting capabilities, letting consumers snap away and delete images until they get the exact shot they want. A second camera, the Rite Aid One-Time-Use Camera with Delete Feature, offers all the same features but without the LCD preview screen. Both cameras hold 25 pictures and are fully recycled after processing. Customers will receive 25 Kodak Prints, an index print, and a Kodak Picture CD for just $9.99 when they return the camera to Rite Aid for processing.

"Rite Aid is committed to being a leader in digital photo products and services," said Jim Mastrian, senior executive vice president of marketing and logistics, Rite Aid Corporation.
