where is Pete's reply??? I AGREE 100 PERCENT WITH HIS ASSESSMENT

add the words "for 30 days" to "The EXIF Editor is free to use" in your post to reduce confusion.

trying to sell one's product is great, but the original 1ST post in viewfinder was not for the benefit of the community.

I believe that you could both advertise your product and contribute to the site with your knowledge. doing that would benefit YOU and the group :)

    I moved it
I removed Peter's reply and moved the post here. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, I don't mind if this type of thing is posted - in the News and Rumors forum. Even though it's self-promotion, it's still news. And who knows? Maybe this software is the best.

I'm disappointed Photo-John that you have deleted my post as that is censorship which I don't view is warranted with my post.

This post I consider to just be another form of SPAMMING which I detest. Look at all the email that is hitting peoples email boxes, out of 1,000 posts a week, 80%+ is SPAM.

If you don't get a handle on these self-promoting 1st posters who don't appear to return to the forums, you forums are going to fill up with this sort of thing more and more which will denegrate the speed of the forums unnecessarily.

It is great to self promote but as Paul said, if they contribute to the forums, other than just posting 1 post then that's fine with me. I think I contribute to these forums in a very positive way and endeavour to help, stear, promote the same degree of friendliness that these forums are renowned for.

I don't agree with outright censorship and the lack of courtesy in discussing any problem you might have had with my original post.

And I don't think this software is the best.

    Misunderstanding
Sorry about the misunderstanding, Peter. It's not censorship. I will allow posts of this type as long as they're oin the News and Rumors forum. I figured you'd understand when I moved the post and removed your response.

    Thanks-

Fair enough John, just trying to keep the B's honest, which was my point in my posting. I agree with Paul that the heading should be edited to include that it is a free program as the original poster implied. That is what really irked me about the posting in the first place. Implying it was free, great support him if you then decide to but they should have been honest from the first posting, which isn't what was implied, Honesty. Thanks for clearing it up as well.

Thank you, paulnj and the captain.

the EXIF MAKER is free to use for ever. There's not any time limit.

I want to recommend my program to every body like it. This is my pleasure that more and more people like my work. Selling is most important thing.

The software may be not the best one, but I will try my best to improve it.

Otherwise, I found an article from a website to introduce my software. Share it with every one.
