Any word at CES about a replacement for the Epson 2200 or an extended battery/grip for the D70?

There is a new Epson printer that was released in Japan, being touted about a bit that it is the replacement for the 2100/2200 printer, it is a PG5000 printer, but I have heard that it isn't to replace the 2100/2200 printer, that is slated for later in the year, around October I think I remember reading about.

Has to do with the 8 cartridge side of things, to keep in line with the new 8 cartridge printers. If I hear anything will let you know.

I had been seriously thinking about the 2100/2200 printer here in Australia, can get a Demonstration New One for a good price, but now I have purchased the lights, that is shelved for atleast another 12 months.

Not that I could find. Nikon isn't listed as an exhibitor and the only press I could find fom Epson was regarding their LCD technology. I think that CES is the wrong venue for those two things. It's really a very consumer product driven show. The high-end Epson products are targeted at pros and I'm not sure, but Nikon appears to not even be bothering with CES. However, don't worry. The annual PMA tradeshow takes place in Florida, at the end of next month. If Nikon and Epson have new stuff, they'll definitely be showing it at PMA. Plus, I'll actually be going to that show and I'll make sure to see, photograph, and get literature on every little item I possibly can :)

When and where will the show and you be. Maybe, if school schedules etc permit, we can have a we bit of a get together.

I didn't reaize you were ni Florida. The show is in Orlando, at the end of February. And I always like getting to meet community members. I've never been to Miami. Maybe I should take a couple of extra days this year and drive down. That would make the trip much more interesting for me.

That would be cool with us. Young shooter and deckcadet are students along with a few others that will soon be signing up. I think they'd love to see you and your stuff and show off some of theirs. PM me with your travel details and times, etc. Do you dive at all, maybe we can set up a trip.
