PHOTOSITE ONLINE PHOTO SHARING CAPABILITES ADDED TO DXG’S NEW LINE OF DIGITAL CAMERAS

Partnership Provides Consumers a Complete Digital Photography Starter Kit

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., July 6, 2004 – DXG USA, a new consumer brand finding mass appeal among first time digital camera buyers, and Homestead Technologies Inc., the creator of the award-winning PhotoSite digital photo sharing service today announced a partnership that provides a free PhotoSite membership with the purchase of every new DXG digital camera. Starting with DXG’s latest 3-megapixel DXG-328 camera model, and for all models to be introduced later this year, consumers will receive the no-charge membership to PhotoSite for hosting and sharing their digital pictures across the Web.

“By teaming up with PhotoSite, we are able to offer picture-taking enthusiasts an immediate and incredibly simple way to share their photos with their loved ones all over the world,” said Jackson Yu, President, DXG USA. “PhotoSite has finally made sharing digital photos as easy as taking them.”

“DXG offers an impressive lineup of stylish and easy-to-use digital cameras,” said Justin Kitch, CEO and founder Homestead Technologies Inc. “With the addition of PhotoSite, DXG will be the first to capitalize on a complete digital photography starter package for consumers of all ages.” The DXG digital photography starter kits range in price from $99 to $149 and include the camera, a free PhotoSite membership, a digital photography software editing suite, a camera case, USB and TV out cables, and batteries.

PhotoSite is the online photo sharing service from Homestead that lets digital camera owners quickly and easily create and share dazzling, Web-based photo albums. The service uploads photos ten times faster than other similar services while publishing beautiful online albums with just a few clicks.

With every camera purchase, DXG camera owners will receive the PhotoSite AlbumBuilder software, a personalized URL, a library of album page layouts, styles and color schemes, and the ability to manage an unlimited number of photos and albums. Owners will be able to purchase upgrades allowing them to add a personal domain name to their membership. The service will be available at dxg.photosite.com.

DXG has designed and manufactured digital cameras for major well known brands for a number of years, including Hitachi, Vivitar among other household brands. Since establishing its own brand in January 2004, the company has found success in the U.S. using a business strategy focused on fashionable, sleek ergonomic designs and competitive pricing targeted at first time buyers of digital cameras.

DXG's current line of cameras includes the DXG-228, DXG-308, DXG-321 and DXG-328. Designed for fashion conscious buyers, the cameras use stylish designs with 2- or 3-megapixel CMOS sensors, 1.5-inch TFT displays, 4x digital zoom, 16-megabyte built-in memory, SD and MMC memory card expansion, AVI video, USB interface and replaceable alkaline batteries. In addition, the DXG-202V is available as a palm-sized 2-megapixel CMOS digital video camera. Later this year, DXG plans to add to its product line with a new series of pre-announced cameras including:

• DXG-301V – a miniaturized 3.2 megapixel CCD plus MPEG-4 digital video camera
