New Product Release--inCamera 4.0 Digital Camera and Scanner ICC profile sofware

PictoColor announces the release of inCamera 4.0 Photoshop Plug-in, a new version of the its acclaimed Digital Camera and Scanner ICC Profile Software. The new version features support for the new GretagMacbeth ColorChecker SG Chart and the HutchColor HCT target for creating optimum ICC profiles.

This new plug-in is based on profiling technology licensed from Pictographics International Corp. (www.pictographicsint.com) and is an enhanced version of previous inCamera products.
New features included in the new version include:
  • Supports NEW GretabMacbeth ColorChecker SG Chart: Additional gray scale steps provide accurate control of camera balance
  • Supports the HutchColor HCT target from Hutcheson Consulting: Has around twice as many patches as IT8.7/1 & 2 ('IT8') targets, a better sampling of dark colors and almost three times as many gray scale steps.
  • Provides additional reporting on quality of image of the chart: Noise reporting and Lighting Uniformity reporting
  • Custom Light Source Selection for optimizing profiles for specific light sources: This features utilizes the spectral data available with the ColorCheckerSG chart to optimize a profile for the light source used to photograph the picture.
inCamera is compatible with Photoshop 7.0 and CS and the following operating systems: Macintosh 9.2, and 10.X in both Native and Classic modes and Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, and XP.

inCamera plug-in includes a User Guide that explains how to successfully create and use ICC input profiles in a Photoshop color managed workflow. The price is $149.95 as a software download.
