D200 more rumours
Chasseurs d'Images says that the announcement of the D200 is close. They expect to have an article on it in their next issue (19th November).
They say it should occupy a space equivalent to the F90X i.e. pro/high-end amateur. The price is supposed to be very agressive. CdI speculate that Canon will release a simplified 5D to counter it..

Another snippet of information - CdI says that Sony and Nikon will become rivals in sensor manufacture with the release of the D200. So if Sony don't manufacture the new sensor then I guess this means that Pentax and Minolta can't use it.
Lots of references to the Canon 50D, the simplified 5D that Canon should announce at the same time as the D200 announcement.
