Leading Professional Photographers to Present Work While Showcasing Digital Imaging Knowledge and Experience in Lexar Booth at PhotoPlus Expo in New York

FREMONT, Calif., October 10, 2007 - Lexar, a leader in advanced digital media and accessories, announced today that world-renowned professional photographers Lynn Goldsmith, Vincent Laforet, Rick Sammon, and Onne van der Wal will display their work in Lexar’s booth (#501) at the upcoming PhotoPlus Expo in New York, while sharing digital imaging workflow tips and techniques with show attendees.

“Images captured by Lynn, Vincent, Rick, and Onne are perfect examples of the kind of powerful, breathtaking and inspiring work that is stored daily on our Professional memory cards,” said Jeff Cable, director of marketing, Lexar. “These professionals choose Lexar Professional cards and accessories because they are among the fastest and most reliable available anywhere, and they help photographers do what they do best: confidently and efficiently capture images.”

Photographers at all experience levels tend to be passionate about their work. Lexar feeds this passion by providing durable and reliable high-speed flash memory cards and accessories so that they can focus on capturing eye-catching images and never miss their shot.

Multi-award-winning portrait photographer Lynn Goldsmith does not want to have to worry about her equipment when looking for that “perfect” shot among the most recognizable faces in music and entertainment. Acclaimed photographer Vincent Laforet relies on his equipment when flying hundreds of feet in the air shooting his signature aerial images. Nature photographer and author Rick Sammon needs the most durable gear available during shoots in some of the world’s most exotic locations. And award-winning nautical photographer Onne van der Wal requires the most trustworthy equipment to securely capture images of the sea’s most luxurious ships and yachts while floating in the water. All four photographers use Lexar Professional flash memory cards and card readers within their digital imaging workflow.

These popular photographers will share digital imaging tips and techniques with visitors in Lexar’s booth between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm each day of the PhotoPlus trade show and conference held in New York City, beginning Thursday, October 18. The full schedule of in-booth appearances is as follows:
  • Lynn Goldsmith – Thurs., Oct. 18 at 10:30 am and 12:00 pm
