Where to buy lens in LA and Santa Ana?

I am going to visit USA in June. My first stop will be in LA and then Santa Ana south of LA. I need to buy a Nikon 17-55 and cards and flash. Could someone guide me to the best camera shop in these two places please. Best I mean good prices and honest friendly service.

My first stop in LA would be Samys Camera. They have a huge store and you'll be able to find anything you want there. I'm not sure how their proces compare to the competition. I have bought from them before, though, and would do so again.

I don't know anything about camera dealers in Orange County. I think the big dealers are all in LA or the Valley.
