Cameta Camera is a legit place to buy from and they are a pleasure to do business with. They are always helpful and back there cameras.

I only dealt with them once and it was several years ago, but I'd gladly buy from them again. I bought a refurb Pentax waterproof point and shoot and the remote didn't work - no user-replaceable battery in it...

They said to send it back and they'd send another, which they did quickly. Can't remember seeing anything negative about them either.

Another vote for Cameta. They are a good source and also run a brick-and-mortar store.

Cameta is a good source for used gear. They rate the equipment well and are more than fairly priced.

I've bought a number of items including several flashes from them and never have been anything but very satisfied.

Cameta Camera is based in NY. Long Island where I from. They are a real Camera Store that has been in business for over 30 years and are super nice people. I spent 1000s of dollors with them never had a problem.
