refurbdepot.com???
Anyone buy from them? They have a refurbished canon 20d for about $750 with the 18-55 lens. I've read that refurbs are fine, just wondering about buying from this place.

Re: refurbdepot.com???
Go check http://www.resellerratings.com/store/refurbdepot overall it doesn't look good.
Yes, refurbs are generally fine, as long as they're done by the manufacturer.
I wouldn't buy a refurb without manufacturer warranty.
My 1DSmkII came from Canon's own online outlet, with a 1 year warranty.
Which was good because the shutter failed while I was the le Mans 24 hours, a couple of months after I bought it.
My Casio was a factory refurb and it lasted years until the third time I dropped it and a switch broke. Even then I dismantled and fixed it which lasted another year before it became a doorstop :)

Re: refurbdepot.com???
my casio was a factory refurb and i broke it the first night i had it. But i just attribute that to shoddy construction of their lens. I like to be rough with my point and shoots.
Anyways, listen to reseller ratings. if they say it's crap, it is 99.9% of the time.
