Greetings to you all. I Just joined this site.As a newbie in video photography, I am hoping to gain some information before I make a purchase of a Prosumer/Professional Video Camcorder/camera.
To be honest, I am stuck in my decision to purchase a MiniDV, DVD, or Hard disk.
What i have gathered is that miniDV camcorders turn out better quality video but editing is not as easy, and then I hear many complain about the never Hard drive models. So I am left a bit confused.
Does any one believe miniDV will be obsolete? Do you have any help in what is the best way to go? Sure would appreciate any help or clarity you can give.
. I have a Sony Handycam with a 40 GB hard drive, but i want to upgrade to a more professional camera for filming lectures, weddings and such... |
