Lovely colors and good shot for lighting levels. The one thing I would critique would be to get rid of the light trail on the left hand side. It doesn't do much to the picture and is a tad annoying. Other then that great shot! Jared nikonshutterbug 02-22-2005, 05:25 PM Knight, not on the same image, at least with a D-100. You can certainly do it in post-production by shooting the exposure and then the moon and putting them together. mtresillian 02-22-2005, 06:01 PM I agree, a real nice photo. Kind of divided about the light trail, its interesting but also a bit in the way. did you use any filters on this shot? My city shots at night time always seem to be more yellow in colour. Michael Knight 02-22-2005, 06:04 PM Thanks for the response Nikon :) efjeld 02-22-2005, 07:47 PM I love shots like this. Yours is excellent. Not so sure about that light trail, but it has it's place in your photo. LeeIs 02-22-2005, 08:00 PM Excellent shot(s) Nikon!!! I'm not a big fan of that big trail going across the sky though. It takes away from the beauty of this shot. JK_Photo 02-22-2005, 08:50 PM If you take that light trail out and level the horizon you'd have a sweet stock photo. nikonshutterbug 02-22-2005, 08:55 PM thanks for the comments... No filters.... Tuna 02-23-2005, 06:35 PM Very nice night shot but I am also distracted by all the stuff in the sky (other than the moon...). A slight adjustment in levels to darker may also make the colors a bit richer. Tuna |
