I have a Sony Digital Handycam and I'm looking for help on how to transfer edited movie files from my computer back onto mini DV tape in the handycam. Is this possible and if so, how is it done?

The answer depends on your handicam and whether or not it can record off the firewire. You need to look for the function in your editor to burn, or edit or cut back to tape, Set the Sony to VCR mode, push the FN key, then page 3 and look for the record control function. It may not go into the record mode until it actually picks up a signal from the computer
