I took this on a golf course in Ireland, i did my best to really fill the shot. I am realy happy with it, I like the way the water texture is clearly different but the images produced are relatively sharp.

Comments please!

What kind of camera did you use?

I like the symmetric aspect of this picture, the trees above the water, their reflection in the water. I would, however, say that it seems to be blurry OMC (on my computer). Like you put it through a noise filter. A good composition, but I am a little perutbed at the blurriness of the photo.

It looks a bit soft to me also. I would prefer it if you cropped the top 25% or so to get rid of the symmetry. The sky is much more pleasing in the reflection and then the horizon line would not be in the middle of the pic. (rule of thirds)

I agree. Great potential, but on my monitor, it's not as crisp as I'd expect for a 4MP camera.

May just be my computer set up though,

I sharpened it, cropped the top, adjusted the light levels and contrast. I think it does look a bit better now
??
Tnx

Oh, for me now it is too dark.

I like the second version better than the first, but I think I would crop even more off the top. Maybe bring it down to just the tops of the pine trees and forget about the trees behind them. Overall I think you have a really nice shot here.

Much better now that its been cropped and more saturation. Perhaps a little to much sharpening - You can't please everyone!
