I photographed this F14 Tomcat this weekend at an airshow with a D70 and Nikon 300mm f/4 lens - mostly with a Tamron 1.4X teleconverter. All of these are cropped - some more slightly than others. What do you think? How would you improve them?

Spectacular and nothing i can say would improve them.Third is my favourite.

I agree with Bobb, great stuff.

Sky on the fourth is a bit too grainy, but that's probably down to you compressing it for us to see :)

You always knock me out with the clarity and colors that you are able to get. Great job of following a high speed object and keeping it tack sharp. What kind of shutter speeds and ISO were you shooting?

Great shots. Love the color and the detail. I wish we could get another air show in here... Love airplanes.
