I was waiting for someone else to post something, but who watched the NY / Boston game last night? That was one of the best games I've ever seen. And it was a great ending for what might have been the best NY / Boston series ever. Sorry New Yorkers, but I love the Red Sox :p

That was a great game. I watched it at the BBC (British Bankers Club) in Menlo Park, which is this great old style bar. It was a pro Boston crowd so there was some celebrating going on.
I'm always a SF Giants fan, but have always liked the Boston Red Sox since I was a kid. I'm also a Boston Bruins fan, so it was cool to see such a great comeback.
Up for dinner next week Senior John?

I'm not much into baseball, but if I were, I'd be a Mets fan. Come on, I live in Queens. That said:
1. Derek Jeter has a great ___.
2. Johnny Damon is a hottie. I've got a soft shot for long-haired guys.
3. The Yanks were the underdogs going into this, why is anyone surprised? Friggin Steinbrenner decimated the pitching staff before the start of the season. You can't have a team in the Series without a good bullpen. Heavy hitters do not a winning team make.
4. We've seen by the chaos that BoSox fans cannot handle victory, so the Yanks must make sure that it's another 86 years before they taste it again. :p
5. They still have to win the Series before the curse is truly lifted, right? Those Cardinals are on FIRE this year. :D (#4 and #5 in jest, P-J!)
But then again, I don't really like baseball.

I thought last year's series between the Yanks and Sox was much more exciting. Not because the Yanks won ;) I don't know - this year - I couldn't hack it. Last year I watched every game.
But I'm glad that we can now get some sleep!
