What is your classification of Pop art kelly?

I think this is a good commentary on popular culture: it's about people being socially engineered. This artwork isn't mine.

Kit, I have a subject in mind, I have new lighting to light it, I think I even have a white sheet around here to put behind it.

I just simply don't have any time to shoot it right now. Hopefully later in the week....

kelly, i am really curious what do you mean by saying "i just do not have time to shoot it right now". i am not being sarcastic, or anything. I mean, how much time do you really need to shoot a picture? What do you spend your time on? Contemplating? Buying props? Waiting for inspiration? It is always interesting to know how creative process makes through someone's brain...

Irakly, I will tell you what I have been spending my time on this past week:

1) Writing a 5-page thesis paper summarizing the French Revolution and how it changed the world and/or failed in its intent.

2) Music Theory III take-home Midterm exam (analyze music; then compose 4 examples based on very strict rules)

3) Reading 92 not-very-well-written pages on the Russian Revolution, answering 30 questions based on the reading. I wish the book was better. It's SO hard to slog through. The author is much too verbose, and in effect hides his facts behind metaphors.

4) Self-guided ear-training lessons on CD. I have to be at a certain level by next week.

5) Voice lessons - practice daily, memorize two pieces. Not to mention learning 6 pieces for Chorus. I'm singing alto this year, which I'm unaccustomed to. I'm a soprano.

7) Create a complete fitness regimen, compile it in project form (include my fitness history, goals, details on muscle groups, exercises, weight training principles, equipment, technique)

8) Study for Fitness mid-term exam.

9) take the time to go to classes full time.

10) If that wasn't enough, our play opened this week. Last week I had to hang, gel and focus lights, and design and program 95 lighting cues. Sunday was Wet Tech, Mon-Wed was Dress Rehearsal, Thurs was Final Dress/Preview Night/Dean's Night, then Fri & Sat we opened to the public. I suspect you know how busy that last week before Opening Night is. Oh yeah, I'm also House Manager, so I have to be there early and stay late.

11) OK, that's just my student/community duties. It doesn't include the dishes, laundry, cleaning, shopping, errands, chauffering, etc. that I have to do as a wife and mother.

Every so often I take a break and pop over here to see what's new, but for the most part, I just don't have the time (or counter space, at the moment :( ) to set up the shot the way I want to. It will involve somehow hanging a sheet on my counter, composing the subject, and lighting it, which I'm a complete novice at. The actual shooting part will be easy, I think.

Sounds kinda like that old final exam gag - "Describe the Universe in detail - give three examples".:D You are going to NEED that weekend in Chicago.
Can I read that thesis when you are done?
