I called Adorama on the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend, to inquire about ordering the Sony F-828. Their prices are what attracted me. I asked the salesman if I could possibly have it shipped out that day, for overnight Saturday delivery. The guy had already been rather short with me (probably anxious to start his holiday weekend!), and told me they couldn't do it. I told him I was really hoping to get my hands on this camera for a special shoot I needed to do that Sunday. His response? "Good luck!" I started asking about ordering it anyway, before I realized there was dead air on the other end ...and that he had hung up on me!!!

So I called Sony and dealt with the friendliest bunch of people you could ever ask for. I've bought directly from Sony before, and will now continue to do so.

I'm about to buy 2 20Ds and a few lenses and plan to go with adorama. Same prices as B&H but adorama is offering free shipping on most of the items I want.

Adorama has always been easy to deal with for me, but the thing I notice is that it takes them a few days to ship out even a small order. I've only ordered a few times from them, but this has always been the case. B&H is almost always same or next day, depending on the time the order is put in. Because of that, they're not my first choice but a good one if needed.

they shut down on friday @ 1:00 pm . the website say,s 1:15pm.order from mon to thursday and you might get it in a week. if you order late thursday it might not be shipped till that next monday
