All my kids were back in Kentucky this weekend for my wife's family reunion. About the only time I get them all in one spot anymore is Christmas. So it was a real treat for us all to be together and outdoors at a state park near our home. I had taken a picture of my kids on this rock around 16 or 17 years ago and it has been one of my favorites. We were going on a cave tour and I noticed the same rock and remembered the picture from long ago. Since that time we have added three more members to our family two daughters-in-law and a son-in-law. Just have to show off a little with my friends on PR and post a pictures of all the kids. The four on the front row are the ones Joy and I started out with and there spouses are next to them or just behind them.

What a good looking bunch! They all look so happy and I'm sure you are too to have them all together. I always wanted to be in a large family but it didn't happen that way. I'm jealous. I miss your posts. Come back and post when you get time. For now, enjoy the visit. Nice shot of them btw.

I've posted pictures of their mother and you know good and well where they get their looks, and it aint from the old man!! You guys with young children take time to enjoy every minute while you still have them close at hand. You have no idea how much Joy and I enjoyed our weekend with the the family all together in one spot.

Definately enjoy your children when they are young. Youth, believe it or not, is only temporary. Then they grow up. Great picture! and...is there anyway to see the original??? Thank you for sharing.

Thanks to all who commented and to those that took a peak at my family and hopefully had a warm thought or remembered someone that was far away. Family is so special to me and I love the time we are able to spend together. I agree so much with Lava Lamp's comment about that is why we take pictures. I have taken thousands of pictures over the last 35 or so years, but none are as special as the ones of my family, from the ones of there mother holding them close after their birth to the the last one as we all gathered to share a special weekend. To those that wanted to see the original, alas no scanner. I will have to do something about that, but now in this digital age it just doesn't seem as urgent. Thanks agin to all those who joined in my celebration of family.
