Sheesh - this has been one helluva week. In a couple of hours, my brother-in-law and his fiance will be here for portraits. At 6:30 tonight, the brunette bridesmaid from the wedding shots I posted will be here for a photo shoot.

This week, I showed my wedding prints to a bunch of folks. I was hired on the spot by a gal getting married at the end of August, and yesterday I had a mother of a groom-to-be come by and look at the wedding pics. She laughed. She smiled. We discussed price. She was ecstatic. She'll be calling me back next week after talking to her son, but she says that in her mind, "it's a done deal."

My head is truly spinning. I'll be sure and post some photos from the studio shoots I'm going to do today.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the folks here. Thanks for the support, the encouragement, and most of all - the advice that has helped me become a better photographer. Thank you all.

Looks like another wedding pro in the making. Good luck with the shoots, and let us know how they went. Oh yeah, some photos, too.

I guess that's how it starts - the hard work pays off. Congrads!

Andy -- Once again you are living proof that word of mouth is better than ANY advertisement. When people talk to other people who talk to other people about your work, it get's around VERY quickly. Congratulations!

I don't even bother advertising with web design. I do it on the side and I am too damned busy because of referrals. My web page doesn't even have anything on it right now aside from my logo :)

By the way, I'm envious :)
