I went to a taekwon-do tournament today. It took place in a small gym. Since I had been there before so I was wondering why the organizer picked a small gym for the event. Silly me. As It turned out, it was a junior tournament :)

All right. Fine ! No high-flying, 360 spinning kicks, no knock-outs. Still, it was fun to watch. Really. I think he agreed...

Unlike the adults, usually the kids are more relaxed...

Then there were some bigger kids, too:

The last one is the star action image for me.
But I love the 1st and 3rd too.

GREAT JOB..... I love # 1 and # 3. I think "little ones" are the best pictures...

Great work. You did a very nice job capturing the event and got some great action. That last one is real good, right before impact.

Thanks for the comments guys! They're always appreciated.

Allow me to share with you a few more from the same tournament :

I don't think you'll see this in a senior tournament. I wonder if they knew they were...fighting...

Kids or not, some are more aggressive than the other...

Do they belong to the same weight class at all?

too cute. My girls are in tkd, although the school we go to doesn't do tournaments. The expression on the last one is dead on. That's exactly how they look.

Have you tried these in black and white?

Thanks for commenting, Adina!

No, I haven't tried them in black and white. Just never thought of that. May be I should try.

OK. I suppose you would post the the results, here? :)

After you've done, could you tell me why you did what you did to the photo(s) ? I'm interested in what you see in the photos.
