Hi all .. I am just home from a wonderful week in Istanbul. We also took the opportunity to pay a visit to the ancient city of Troy. I have zillions of images as it is the most photogenic place you can imagine. Just nine though, over three posts.
Of these ones: The first is in the Grand Bazaar, the second is Achmed the brush seller, and the third is one of the entrance gates to the Blue Mosque.
Enjoy!

These three. The first is Mustafa the carpet merchant, the second is a mosque sweeper and guard, the third is a scene in Topkapi palace.

Final three: the first is a mosque scene, the second is in Aya Sofia, and the third are some poppies I saw growing on the walls of Troy.
Cheers

Wow you really capture that exotic essence very well. I wish I was there in Istanbul aswell I've heard so many good things about Turkey, after all it's Europe's most populous city, and it's the ''bridge'' in between Europe and Asia.
My favorite picture is got to be the mosque scene.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures, more please.
